Example Company A & Savings

vonex company aCompany A approached Web Tech Plus looking to reduce their communications bill.

Company A’s existing system consisted of a PBX unit with 3 phone lines and 5 phone units ($80/month)
ADSL internet (600Gb & 10M bit down x 1M bit up).  ($80/month)
Phone system repayment ($123.30/month for 36 months)
Their monthly bill on this system was $443.30.

After approaching Web Tech Plus regarding alternate options, a replacement plan was established and coordinated with Vonex.
The new plan included a iPBX system with 5 phone units
NBN internet (Unlimited & 50 Mbit down x 20M bit up).
Under the proposed contract Company A would be able to utilise all 5 phones concurrently and experience much faster browsing speeds. The monthly bill for the proposed system was $250.55.

Over a 24-month period this equated to the following savings:

Total Cost – Existing Setup

Additional Details of Note

  • Due to the flexibility of iPBX, phone units can be transported to different rooms or premises and simply plugged into any DSL/Ethernet socket (plug and play).
  • Vonex offers flexible contracts that can allow the number of phone units to easily expand as required.
  • Twinning options offered allows mobile units to be linked to desk phones, meaning that incoming calls to a line are broadcast to both units, ensuring you never accidentally miss a call
  • In the above example company A opted to purchase the equipment outright, as a result the financial details do not include the equipment cost of the phone units.
  • While company A had 5 separate phone units they were limited to only 3 concurrent calls due to the number of phone lines
